Field trip on Sunday 2/26

Hi Everyone,

For the field trip on Sunday, I have a head count of: Eric, Anita, Jessica, Kelly, Hillary, Sue, Trish, Fletcher.  “Unsures” were Max and another PSU individual with Fletcher.  We have a 12-passenger van.  *Please reply to me to confirm that you are going so that we know who we are looking for on Sunday morning.

Here is our tentative itinerary…

7:45 am: Meet in parking lot behind Richardson Hall, OSU campus

8:00 am: Van departs for Eugene

9:00 am: Pick up group members in Springfield (Starbucks on corner of 126 and Business 126 (Main St.)

Morning planned stops (estimated):

Cougar Reservoir

Campgrounds and recreation sites east of  Cougar Reservoir turnoff

HJ Andrews Forest headquarters

Lunch: Vida Café (or bring a lunch if you don’t want to buy one)

Afternoon planned stops (estimated):

Leaburg Dam

Waterboard Park (near Leaburg Dam)

Leaburg fish hatchery

Recreation sites along lower McKenzie

Agriculture land viewing along lower McKenzie (perhaps tour toward Mohawk if time allows)

4:00 pm: Drop off group members in Springfield

5:00 pm: Return to Richardson Hall          

Items to bring: water, snacks as needed, rain gear, and a fun attitude!
