New iPhone App Tracks Environmental Impact
A new iPhone app allows users to input air, train, and road travel information to see how their carbon footprint compares to how much carbon is stored in ecosystems such as mangroves, marshlands, or seagrass meadows. The app was created by the United Nations Environment Programme with data from a blue carbon report by Duke University's Nicholas School of the Environment.
Learn more about the app and the data behind it at The Herald Sun in their article "New app tracks environmental impact".
